First-Time Homebuyer's Program
Our first-time home buyer program will prepare you for the responsibilities of home ownership and connect you to the most affordable mortgage products, including any down payment and/or closing cost assistance programs. We are certified by HUD and NeighborWorksAmerica® .
Our Home Buyer's Club Classes are held every 3rd Saturday of the month. Topics include managing your finances, how to shop for a home, securing a mortgage loan, and selecting the right contractor for your new home.
Enrollment fee: $125
Once you have completed the 8-hour HUD-certified education course, we ask that you call our office within the week to schedule an appointment for One-on-One Homebuyer Counseling. During that counseling session, we will review your income, credit, and assets; and help you determine whether or not you are mortgage-ready. If you are found to be mortgage ready, we will reach out to our lender partners and try to help find you a pre-approval so that you can start shopping for your new home. If you are not found mortgage-ready, we will work with you to develop a budget and credit plan to get you to the point where you're ready to move forward.
Counseling fee: $50
Credit report (soft pull): $25
